New Marketing
Services from TMMG![]() |
Over the last year we have stressed the importance of adding e-mail addresses to your contacts in SMP. Numerous studies have shown that internet communication and e-mail will be the dominant means of contacting your customers. TMMG is pleased to announce the launch of Content-On-Demand, a marketing program designed to deliver new and featured product awareness to your end user on a consistent basis.

We
are pleased to announce the newest addition to the TMMG team - Dana
Mouritzen. For the past 6
years Dana has worked for an Allen-Bradley distributor as their Automation
Products Manager, responsible for managing the sales and marketing efforts
of a 12-person product manager team with total automation product sales in
excess of $22 Million. In
this role Dana was a user of Sales Management Plus.
His belief in the value of Sales Management Plus and in the overall
direction of the company was his primary motivators for choosing to join
the team. Not
only does he come to us with a strong background in sales and marketing
but also software product development as well.
Prior to joining the Allen-Bradley distributor Dana spent about 5
years with a systems integrator engineering and executing projects
involving varying information technologies, including large scale
databases and front-end products similar in architecture to Sales
Management Plus. Dana
holds an MBA from the University of California, Irvine as well as a
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Cal Poly, Pomona.
We
are excited about the impact Dana will have on our ability to grow as a
company and to continue improving the products and services that we offer
our customers. Feel free to
contact Dana in our California office at (949) 258-0410, or email him at DanaMouritzen@taylormmg.com. |

Tips and tricks You may have
noticed that you can assign a task to another member of your organization
if their name appears in the drop down list, even if they are not an SMP
user. The problem is how do we tell them there is a task assigned to
them? You e-mail the task to them !! Completely fill out the task form and assign it to the other person. Click "E-mail" and an email is created, already addressed to the assignee, outlining the task. If an email address is not already loaded into the database it is easy to update by selecting the Company Icon for the top menu bar, locating the person from the Associate database and entering their email address.

| SMP Classroom Using Email Templates | |||
|
You design one or many email templates in advance. Every time you send an email to an individual contact through SMP you have the choice to use one of the templates or to just send it plain. An Email template may consist of a signature, eliminating the tedious task of "Signing" your email. You may choose to add your companies' logo, or a graphic of a particular manufacturer. Perhaps you want to remind your customers about an upcoming Seminar or Open House. If you routinely write quotations to customers you may find that the e-mail you write is fairly standard. Creating a template with the verbage already written saves you time as well as keeps all your quotation e-mails consistent. Learn more about how to use
this new feature. Click
