Version 5.32

The next time you log into Sales Management Plus you will be notified that a new version has been released. We have made some improvements to the program that I am sure you are going to love.

Upgrading Instructions

To upgrade your version to the latest select "Upgrade Now" from the pop up. You will be directed to Download Central of Salesmgmtplus.com. Click the Upgrade version for the program you are using (Lite or Pro). At the Extract Box, click finish. Once that is complete the new version is loaded and ready to go.

Login Password

The latest version addresses a login security issue. In the past all login information all was automatically stored including the password. You were not required to enter it everytime you logged in. With this version we are no longer saving the password and you will be asked to enter your password each time you log in. 

Many of you may not even know your password anymore so I am enclosing it below for your reference.

Login Name: [[LoginName]]
Password: [[LoginPwd]]

The following are key upgrades in Version 5.32

Customer Module –

 

You are now able to filter by Customer, Vendor, Competition or other before you "Find" the account you need. This will speed up the process of finding an account

 

We have added a “Notes” section on the “Other Info” page for general notes about a customer

 

Marketing Checklist has been changed to Marketing Interests

 

Changes to the Account Manager and Location can only be made by your administrator.

 

 

Activities:

 

All name dropdowns are sorted by first name

 

All Activities (Tasks, Phone calls, Customer Meetings and Info requests) can now be emailed. The email automatically fills in the email address of the Activity owner, the Assign To and the Account or Project manager (as appropriate)

 

The default activity records pulled has been raised to the top 200

 

Market Analysis:

 

To run reports select  “Reports” in the File Menu item. The report screen has been reconfigured to make it more intuitive

 

Projects:

 

To add a new project from either Project Add/edit (Prj) or Project Management (Prjs) click the Add button from the top menu bar of either module. A new popup box will appear. Type the first few letters of the customer you are creating the project for.

 

The new project will be given a default name. Change as necessary

Business Totals:

 

A new report has been added to business totals – Monthly Total Account Sales by account Manager. You can run this report for a calendar year or a rolling 12 months for either Sales or GP. The report will run for all associates with any assigned accounts. To run the report for one specific account manager be sure to run the Business Total report for just that account manager. The new report gives you Customer sales by month.
