Saving, modifying and restoring Marketing Lists



Create your list by using any of the methods previously discussed. By default all contacts on the list are set to "Selected".  Refine your list by "deselecting" contacts as necessary. When you are satisfied with your contact selections you should save your work.

• Click "File" and "Marketing List" The "Marketing List" window will pop up.
  
• Save As: If this is the first time you will be saving this list select "Save As"
  • Give your list a name and description (optional)
  • Web Enabled - COMING SOON - This feature will allow your customers to opt in and opt out of your lists from your company web site
  • Expires On -  If your list is only good for a certain time period place the expiration date here.
• Save: Saves over a previously saved list. This will over write the existing list and replace it
  
• Open: Select the list you wish to open by clicking the gray square to the left of the list. A black arrow will appear showing the selected list. In the example above the selected list is "Automation training"
  
• Add to: This command will actually append your list to the selected list allowing your to continuously grow your list.
  
• Delete: The selected list will be deleted

Number Accessible vs Total: Because of the different security levels built into SMP the "Number accessible vs. Total"  may differ. If that is the case, Total is the total number of contacts in the marketing list and "Number accessible" are the contacts which are accessible to you.
